Once again it is officially fall here in Ohio. The leaves are gorgeous!!! Ah! I can't believe it's here again though! Never thought it would come haha. You all can expect me talking about how fast time goes in every email from here on out, cause it is FREAKING ME OUT!!

This Tuesday we had a mission wide end of summer event! It was so funny seeing all the missionaries in normal clothes acting like the kids we are. We had yummy food, and played lots of games! It was so fun. I love the OCM. Wouldn't trade my mission for the world.:) Most of us wore buckeye attire obviously. They're killin it this season. I'm proud. I served in campus, I'm forever a buckeye.:)

Once again we were tracting all week. Man, it gets tiring. Luckily not as much anti this week. Still some. The wound from last week is still healing a bit but I know the Lord will help me. Anyway, Sister Barton was like "why are we out all day in the hot sun tracting?" And I look at her and I say "cause digging holes builds character." Hahahaha if you've seen Holes you'd get it.:) She just looked at me and said "I can't argue with that". It was so funny, we were dying! We are teaching some awesome people!! The Lord always prepares.:) There is a man Cory and is daughter Kamdyn. They are so sincere and are praying to be baptized. I love them! He reads the Book of Mormon with her everyday. It's perfect:) When you and your family have that foundation of Christ, the whirl winds cannot knock you down. It's incredible.I've seen that in many families here in my mission.

Overall, it's been a fun week here in the great OCM. I LOVE IT!!

Transfer calls are today eek! Will I stay here in Nerk six more weeks? Stay tuned.
 Summer event!!:)

Refiners fire.

This week has been interesting, and really rough! We are trying so hard to find, and no matter what we do or who we would talk to everyone was so rude. We also have been running into a bunch of anti Mormon people who love to tear us down. This has been going on for like the past 2 weeks. It really didn't have an effect on me though at least I thought it didn't , we just kept pushing forward, finding and talking with everyone.

We knocked on a door and this man answered. He was very nice and told us he attends the Vineyard but has talked with missionaries a little before, and that he had a Book of Mormon somewhere! We were stoked cause he was awesome. His wife was inside and they invited us in to chat with him. He asked us to tell him what our basic beliefs were so we went on to teach the restoration. Him and his wife listened so intrigued. He asked no questions during the whole thing, he just asked us to teach so we did! After we were done he started asking very innocent questions about the priesthood, and heaven, and prophets! Eventually though, he pulled out his Bible and started reading verses contradicting everything we said. We told him we weren't there to bash and he said his questions are sincere and he just truly wanted to understand Mormonism. He continued to bash everything, everything we believe! He started talking about Joseph smith and he knew a lot about the church. Tons!! And then the truth came out that he has read a lot of the Book of Mormon. We told him we had to go, and he said he wanted to end on one thing. He then read us a scripture that told us we were cursed. We stood up to leave and shaking their hands I said "we both believe in Christ that's what matters." As we walked out he said "I'm just saying you believe in a different Christ that's all."

It hurt, so bad. My soul hurt. I cant explain it! Sister Barton and I both sobbed. We just kept thinking why has this been happening! Our testimonies weren't shaken at all, but it just hurt. We prayed, and pondered, and Heavenly Father comforted us a lot. Wonderful things happened the next day though. We found 2 incredible new investigators who are so sweet and so prepared! God works in mysterious ways, there is a reason everything happens. And he blesses us so much in the end! It has been a humbling week. Experiencing just a taste of what Christ felt, with the rejection he faced everyday. I'm grateful my Savior knows me, and how I feel.

Being a missionary is the best. Even through the hard times. It's hard to see our brothers and sisters not understand, because we desire their salvation. Ugh agency!! Haha. I'm grateful though for all the experiences I have here. I'm being molded. Christ knows how it feels to serve a mission, and in Him I can find strength.:)

A huge shout out to Kevan and Stephanie and their new baby!!:) congrats!!:) cutest family ever:)

Hope you all have a wonderful week! Love you!:)

The Book of Mormon is the keystone to our religion. See the little boy reading it?
Haha, love mission life!

Meh.

Time flies!!!

A beautiful week here in Ohio! It's starting to get so dark and cold already! Fall is in the air and I love it! What the heck?? I could've sworn it was just fall!! Haha. Why does time pass so fast?? I've been having major deja vu lately. Is that how it's spelled? Doubt it. haha. Hopefully this fall won't be accompanied with bed bugs:) But we will see! You never know what the Lord has in store for you.

Got to go to the temple. It was much needed!:) So grateful for the restoration of the gospel that we have temples today!:)

I was in New Albany this week, it's a really rich part of Ohio. Like really rich. It scared me. Haha. But the iPhone 6s came out and everyone was freakin out and I'm just like what is technology!! They were explaining it to me and I was like what?? Then they showed me their Iwatch and I was like what the heck!! Ah!! I've only been gone a year and so much has changed. I feel like time stops when you go on a mission, but it doesn't haha. It was an eye openers that life is still going on! Speaking of which.. HAPPY WEDDING DAY TO LINSEY AND DALLIN! You two are so cute. CONGRATS!!:)

Lots of finding this week once again. It's been fun! Lots of Gods children to talk to!:) But the best part of the week is when Kara got baptized!!:) Ah! Saturday was such a beautiful day. She was glowing. I love her so much. She knows exactly what she had to do.  Here is a little story about her testimony of the Book of Mormon.:)

Kara found it was difficult for her to accept Jesus Christ as the son of God, because of her Jewish background. She was told the way to gain a testimony of Jesus Christ is by reading The Book of Mormon. She was touched as she read 2 Nephi 30:7 "And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered shall also begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delight some people." It strengthened her testimony in Jesus Christ." She couldn't put The Book of Mormon down, and found power in it. It is because of The Book of Mormon that she found for herself that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and this truly is His church.

She's a miracle. I am so blessed to even know her. Missions are indescribable:) I've never been happier!!:)
I love you all!!
 Sister Barton and I :)

One year, come and gone.

Hola family!

It's been HOT here this week! Yet the leaves are changing? Oh Ohio, how I love you! :) Sister Barton and I have had a fun week though:)

Well, I hit my one year! What the heck? A year?? I've been a missionary for a year!! I never thought the day would come quite honestly. Very bitter sweet. I've learned so much this year words cannot even explain. I am so blessed to be a representative of my Savior.

We have had so many miracles this week! Let's just talk about Kara!:) This girl though, her faith is inspiring. She grew up Jewish, so she was afraid to tell her parents about her baptism. Well when she did tell them they didn't like the idea, they told her she couldn't be baptized. This was her 21 birthday too!:( She was devastated. She knows the church is true with all her heart and desires nothing more than to be baptized. She called us sobbing and all we could do was pray with her. She texted us that night and told us she needs to postpone her baptism just so her parents can have some time to soften their hearts. We understood:( But, then she called the next day and told us that she needs to be baptized Saturday, even if it is against her parents will. I couldn't believe it. Her faith is so strong. She wants to enter that gate so she can return to Heavenly Father. She's amazing. I can't even explain the whole story now but she received a blessing and was promised many things. I cried. I can feel Heavenly Fathers love for her. She is special. He has a lot in store for her. I just adore her!

We got a lot of anti this week. And my question is how bold is too bold? Haha. Sister Barton and I just told everyone what was up on the door step:) it was pretty fun:) haha:) in a loving way of course:) I am not going to let people tell me I am "delusional" or "miss led" that is just not okay! Something I have realized though is that even though most places we go people look at us like we are the scum of the earth.. It's ok. Because many looked at Christ that way, he knows how I feel because he personally went through it, every day. He knows what it's like to be rejected, and yelled at, and have the door slammed in our face. He knows. It's nice knowing I always have someone to lean on.

Being a missionary is the best thing I've ever done. This has been the best year of my life and I am excited to see what the next 6 months hold.
It's been a year since I have entered he MTC and took this photo with Sister Currier. I am a different person since that photo. Christ has changed me into who he wants me to be. I'm grateful I get to continue this change through out my life.
You can officially be a Disney princess when you take a picture with a butterfly on your finger:)
